A day at the beach
Leave early in the morning for S’Archittu or Is Arenas (about 45 minutes). Lunch on the beach or at one of the small restaurants on the coast. Return in the afternoon, hot tub before dinner.
A day of archaeology
Morning at Nuraghe Losa (5 minutes from the villa, worth visiting early). Lunch in Abbasanta or Paulilatino. Afternoon at the Sacred Well of Santa Cristina or, if you’re short on time, Su Nuraxi (1 hour by car, but it’s UNESCO).
A day in the wineries
Vernaccia di Oristano wineries in the morning, lunch in Cabras (35 minutes, with local bottarga), afternoon at the archaeological site of Tharros (40 minutes). Slow return, with a stop at Enoteca Buono.
A day in Bosa
An hour’s drive well worth it. Bosa is one of the most colourful small towns on the island, with the river Temo, the hilltop castle, and Bosa Marina beach. Seafood lunch, gelato, and an evening return.
